When you come to our office for your first appointment, we will take a mold of your teeth which we will then use to create a digital model of your mouth. This model will be used to create a series of plastic aligners for the course of your treatment. Invisalign can be removed at any time to eat, drink, brush, and floss – the exact amount of time they need to be on depends on your individual needs ans habits, and can be discussed with your dentist. Average treatment time can last 9-15 months and will require anywhere from 18-30 aligners. The time and number of aligners needed depends on the complexity of your case.
